Reducing Grass Growth
Growth regulators have been used over the past number of years to enable the groundsman or course manager to reduce the number of cuts required on difficult to manage areas such as sloping banks or areas where cutting grass would be awkward. These growth regulators actually divert the plant growth downward in to the root system to increase food reserves and lateral stem development. This leads to a thicker and dense sward that can withstand more wear and tear. Application areas include greens, tees, fairways and sportsgrounds.
